Payment Policy:
• 20% of payment due at time of booking
• 50% of payment due due by May 20th (5 months before event)
• Balance due August 20th (3 months before event)

Payment can be made through bank transfer or credit card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard)

Cancellation Policy:
• Cancellation before May 20th, 90% refund of total cost of tour
• Cancellation before August 20th, 80% refund of total cost of tour
• No refunds after August 27th

Price includes unless otherwise noted:
• Accommodations for duration of the tour.
• All meals, unless otherwise noted in itinerary.
• Entrance fees for all sites mentioned in itinerary.
• Guiding services.
• All hotel-airport transfers; international and domestic.
• Domestic flights.
• All ground transportation, including fuel, and driver services.
• All service charges and VAT.

Price does NOT include:
• Any cost of a personal nature.
• Alcoholic drinks.
• Payment for taking photographs or recording videos.
• Tips for drivers, guides, etc.
• Visa costs.
• International airfare to Ethiopia.

Terms & Conditions
For all participants who do not legally reside in Ethiopia, entry into the Haile Gebrselassie Marathon is only available as part of a tour package as described on this website.

Although each tour itinerary is created in good faith, each is subject to change as it may be necessary to alter it. In such case, we will notify clients as soon as possible.

It is the responsibility of all clients to make sure their visa and passport are up to date and valid. 

Awaze Tours and Moray Mountain Sports act only as agents of passengers in all matters relating to accommodation and transportation.

Awaze Tours shall not be liable for delays, loss, or damage arising from any cause and in any manner whatsoever in matters regarding accommodations and transportation.

Participation
Runners should be medically able and properly trained to participate in the Haile Gebrselassie Marathon. The runner understands the risks associated with running this event, including, but not limited to, weather, course conditions and surfaces, falls and contact with other runners, volunteers, or spectators.

Rules & Regulations
Runners agree to obey and accept the rules of this race and any related events and abide by the decision of any race official concerning the runner’s ability to safely complete the run. These regulations are for the participant’s safety and the safety of the other participants in the race.

Medical Support
There will be aid stations available to runners throughout the course. Additionally, there will be an aid tent at the start and finish lines. For your safety, it is important to print any specific medical needs on the reverse side of your race bib. By entering a Marathon event and participating, the entrant agrees to treatment by medical personnel, and also agrees to accept medical decisions about the entrant’s fitness to participate or continue in the race.
